Terms & Conditions

Version 2.0 — Revised Draft · Last updated: July 29, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

By accessing https://www.intropedia.in, registering an account, completing a payment, or accessing any course materials, digital services, or AI tools provided by IntroPedia Educational Services ("IntroPedia", "Company", "We", "Us"), you ("User", "Student", "Client") enter into a legally binding contract governed by the laws of India. If you do not agree to every clause herein, you are strictly prohibited from accessing, enrolling in, or using our platform, services, and content.

1.1 Age & Capacity to Contract

By registering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete registration and payment on your behalf, and by doing so that parent/guardian accepts these Terms as the contracting party. IntroPedia may request reasonable proof of age or guardian consent before granting access.

2. Nature of Services & Educational Disclaimer

IntroPedia provides online technology training, skill development modules, learning tools, and simulated practical learning experiences.

  • Educational Purpose Only: All training programs, hands-on tasks, and simulated internships offered by IntroPedia are strictly for educational and upskilling purposes.
  • No Guarantee of Employment: Participation in or completion of any IntroPedia program does not constitute an offer of employment, an employee-employer relationship, or a legal guarantee of job placement, hiring outcomes, interview calls, or specific salary brackets.
  • Marketing Claims Disclaimer: Promotional materials, brochures, advertisements, or testimonials are illustrative. This disclaimer does not limit IntroPedia\'s obligation under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 to ensure that advertising is not false or misleading.
  • Service Modification Right: IntroPedia reserves the right to alter, update, modify, replace, or discontinue any curriculum, module, format, schedule, mentor, feature, or platform tool, provided that any change materially reducing the core value of a paid program will be notified to enrolled students in advance.

3. Fees, Cohort Policy & Refunds

IntroPedia operates under a fixed-capacity cohort model with immediate allocation of digital infrastructure, cloud resources, and processing costs upon registration.

  • Cohort Fairness & Refund Policy: To maintain fairness and operational integrity among all enrolled students, IntroPedia maintains a strict no-refund policy for change-of-mind cancellations. Once an enrollment fee is processed, requests for full, partial, or pro-rated refunds, or fee transfers, arising from non-attendance, early withdrawal, personal scheduling conflicts, or the user\'s own technical/equipment limitations, will not be considered.
  • Statutory Carve-Out: This policy does not exclude or limit any refund, replacement, or compensation the User is entitled to under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable law — for example, where IntroPedia fails to deliver the paid service altogether, materially misrepresents the program, or is otherwise found to have engaged in a deficiency of service or unfair trade practice.
  • Payment Disputes: You agree to raise any billing concern with IntroPedia\'s support team before initiating a bank or payment-gateway chargeback. Raising a dispute in good faith over an unauthorized or erroneous charge is your right and will not itself be treated as a breach of these Terms; however, chargebacks found to be fraudulent or made in bad faith after a documented resolution may result in service suspension and recovery of related administrative costs.

4. Certification Eligibility & Discretion

Issuance of any digital or physical Certificate, Credential, or Verification from IntroPedia is subject to compliance with IntroPedia\'s internal quality standards:

  • Certificates are earned based on merit, required task submissions, and compliance, not automatically granted upon fee payment.
  • IntroPedia reserves discretion to withhold, refuse, or revoke any certificate or credential where a user engages in academic dishonesty, code plagiarism, unauthorized tool sharing, breach of community rules, or non-completion of required program milestones, and will communicate the specific reason in writing on request.

5. Intellectual Property & Takedown Protection

  • IntroPedia Proprietary Property: All platform software, curriculum, video streams, text, graphics, logos, branding, source code repositories, system prompts, and AI tools remain the exclusive intellectual property of IntroPedia. Unauthorized recording, screen capturing, downloading, redistributing, or reverse-engineering of any IntroPedia property is prohibited under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
  • User Code & License Grant: You retain ownership of original code you author. By submitting work via the platform, you grant IntroPedia a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, publish, display, and reference your project summaries, titles, and non-sensitive results for marketing, portfolio showcases, and quality assessment, unless you opt out in writing.

6. AI Tools & Third-Party Services

  • Acceptable Use: Any automated support, debugging tools, or AI tools provided on the platform must be used solely for individual learning and educational queries. You agree not to perform prompt injection, scraping, security testing, or commercial exploitation of IntroPedia\'s systems or AI logic.
  • No Warranties on AI Output: AI systems and automated platform tools are provided on an "as-is" basis. IntroPedia makes no warranty regarding the complete accuracy, uptime, or error-free execution of code snippets or feedback produced by AI models, and users should independently verify AI-generated output before relying on it academically or professionally.

7. Data Protection & Privacy

IntroPedia collects and processes personal data (including name, contact details, academic information, and usage data) in accordance with its separate Privacy Policy, available at Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

  • IntroPedia acts as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and will process personal data only for the purposes for which consent was given or as otherwise permitted by law.
  • You may exercise your rights to access, correct, or request erasure of your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to support@intropedia.in.
  • Where IntroPedia processes personal data of a user known to be a child (under 18), it will do so only with verifiable parental/guardian consent and will not undertake tracking, behavioural monitoring, or targeted advertising directed at children, as required under the DPDP Act.
  • In the event of a personal data breach, IntroPedia will notify affected users and the Data Protection Board of India as required under applicable law.

8. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless IntroPedia, its directors, employees, affiliates, instructors, and agents from and against any third-party claims, lawsuits, liabilities, losses, damages, or legal costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your breach of any clause in these Terms of Service;
  • Your misuse of IntroPedia\'s platform, services, or AI tools;
  • Any intellectual property infringement committed by you in work submitted to or shared via the platform; or
  • Any claim brought against IntroPedia relating to employment expectations, external career outcomes, or educational results, save to the extent such claim arises from IntroPedia\'s own misrepresentation or breach.

9. User Conduct & Reviews

You agree to maintain a respectful demeanor across all official forums, communication channels, and community spaces.

  • Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to post, publish, or spread statements about IntroPedia, its founders, or team members that are false, defamatory, or made with malicious intent to deceive.
  • Right to Honest Feedback: Nothing in this clause restricts your right to leave truthful reviews (positive or negative) on public platforms, to file a complaint with a Consumer Forum, the CCPA, or any statutory authority, or to describe your genuine experience with IntroPedia\'s services. We encourage you to first raise concerns through support@intropedia.in so we have a chance to resolve them.

10. Grievance Redressal Mechanism

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, the details of the Grievance Officer for IntroPedia are:

  • Grievance Officer: Legal & Compliance Desk, IntroPedia Educational Services
  • Email: support@intropedia.in
  • Acknowledgment: Within 48 hours
  • Resolution: Within 30 days

Encouraged Pre-Litigation Step: Before initiating any court proceeding, we encourage you to first submit a formal written notice to the Grievance Officer so IntroPedia has an opportunity to review and resolve the matter informally. This is a request for cooperation, not a waiver or restriction of your statutory right to approach a Consumer Forum, court, or regulator at any time.

11. Account Suspension & Termination

IntroPedia may suspend or terminate a user's account, with notice and stated reason wherever practicable, in cases including: breach of these Terms, fraudulent payment activity, academic dishonesty, abusive conduct toward staff or other students, or extended account inactivity as described in the Privacy Policy. Users may request account closure and deletion of their personal data (subject to statutory retention requirements) by writing to support@intropedia.in.

12. Force Majeure

IntroPedia shall not be held liable or deemed in breach of contract for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to internet service provider failures, server outages, cyberattacks, power failures, acts of God, or government restrictions.

13. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall IntroPedia, its directors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from platform downtime, loss of data, loss of career opportunities, or reliance on course content. IntroPedia's total aggregate financial liability for any legal claim shall be limited to the total sum paid by the individual user to IntroPedia for the specific service giving rise to the claim, except in cases of fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence, where liability is not limited by this clause to the extent prohibited by law.

14. Taxes

All fees quoted are exclusive of applicable taxes (including GST) unless expressly stated otherwise. Users are responsible for any taxes applicable to their purchase under Indian law; IntroPedia will issue a GST-compliant invoice for each payment.

15. Amendment of These Terms

IntroPedia may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and material changes will additionally be notified by email or in-platform notice at least 15 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Severability & Entire Agreement

  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable by a court or forum of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be severable and shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
  • Entire Agreement: This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy and any Refund Policy published on the Site, constitutes the complete legal agreement between you and IntroPedia, superseding any prior written or verbal discussions.

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Agreement and any dispute arising out of or in connection with IntroPedia shall be governed, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to the statutory right of a consumer to approach a Consumer Forum of competent jurisdiction, the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all other disputes or proceedings.
